Big statement of Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh, said- Sukhbir Badal has no exemption for by-elections.

Amritsar: Sri Akal Takht Sahib's Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh has refused to allow Sukhbir Singh Badal to participate in political activities during the by-elections.

While giving his decision, he said that the salaried person is not entitled to forgiveness without completing the salary. No concession can be given to him.

Let us inform that yesterday a delegation led by Shiromani Akali Dal Working President Balwinder Singh Bhundar had met Jathedar Singh Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh at his residence. The delegation informed the Jathedar about the loss to the party by declaring Sukhbir Singh Badal as a salaried person and requested that in view of the elections, Sukhbir Singh Badal should be given freedom to meet the people. Bharatiya Janata Party and RSS are already trying their best to weaken Shiromani Akali Dal and Sikh Panth.

Along with this, he said that the Central and Punjab governments are trying to break the members of Shiromani Committee in the general meeting to be held on October 28. By contacting the members of the government machinery, the MLAs are also threatening them and insisting on voting in favor of Bibi Jagir Kaur. On this occasion, core committee members like Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Iqbal Singh Jhunda etc. were present.
