The agreement on seat sharing in the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance in Maharashtra is said to be in the final stage. Sources say that the Uddhav Thackeray group has reneged on the seat sharing agreement between Congress, Uddhav Sena and Sharad Pawar's NCP. According to media reports, Congress will field its candidates on 105 seats. Whereas Uddhav Sena can get 96 to 100 seats. NCP-Sharad Pawar may get around 85 seats.

In such a situation, it is clear that Uddhav Sena will get less seats than Congress. This entire agreement was possible because of Uddhav leaving the army. There was a constant demand that it would field candidates on 125 seats. Then suddenly what happened that Uddhav Sena had to be satisfied with 125 less seats than Congress. The opposite happened in the Lok Sabha. Whereas Uddhav Sena contested elections on 21 seats and won 9 seats. Whereas Congress contested elections on 17 seats and won 13 seats. It is believed that by keeping this strike rate in front, Congress convinced Uddhav Sena and he agreed to take less seats.

A long conversation also took place between Congress state president Nana Patole and Sanjay Raut of Uddhav Sena. So much so that Sanjay Raut said that Nana Patole would not want to attend this meeting. It is said that then Sharad Pawar had intervened and talked to Uddhav Thackeray. It is believed that the situation was resolved after their conversation of about two hours. Then Congress had argued that they have a good base in Vidarbha but the position of Uddhav Sena is weak there. In such a situation, there will be loss if they contest elections from the seats there. He will not be able to win in a direct contest against BJP. Therefore, Congress should get a chance there. For this, Congress also presented the strike rate for Lok Sabha elections. Ultimately Uddhav Sena had to accept that Congress should contest elections on more seats.

Congress felt that Uddhav Sena's presence was weak in areas like Amravati, Nagpur, Ramtek and Pune. Therefore, they should get more chances on the seats here. So the chances of winning will increase. At the end, Uddhav Sena also proposed equality. In which it was said that Uddhav Sena and Congress will get 100 seats each while NCP-SP will be given 88 seats. On which Congress became adamant and in the end Congress will field its candidates on more than 100 seats. Whereas Uddhav Sena will get 5-10 seats less than him.
