Like the Home Guard, Civil Defense was started with the objective of protecting life and property of people during disasters and normalizing public life after a disaster. During the last Cyclone Beeperjoy, civil defense workers stood shoulder to shoulder with the system in evacuating citizens to safe places before the disaster and restoring public life after the storm, an excellent example of disaster management with civil dharma. Has become. There are over 70,000 civil defense forces and over 45,000 home guards serving in the state.
