Ingredients for making Makhana Laddus
- 1 cup makhana
- 1 cup jaggery (grated)
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 spoons ghee
- 1/4 cup dry fruits (cashews, almonds, raisins – finely chopped)
How to make Makhana Laddu
- – First of all, put makhana in a pan and fry it while stirring on low flame.
- Fry the makhana until it turns light golden.
- – After this take it out in a big bowl.
- – Now make jaggery syrup.
- For this, put jaggery and a little water in a small pan and cook it on low flame.
- When the jaggery melts completely and a stringy syrup is formed, turn off the gas.
- – Now grind the roasted makhana in the mixer.
- Keep in mind that the makhana has to be ground coarsely.
- If you want, you can break the makhana into pieces by hand also.
- – After this grind cashews and almonds.
- Cut raisins into small pieces and prepare cardamom powder.
- – Now take a big mixing bowl.
- – Add coarsely ground makhana, dry fruits powder and cardamom powder to it and mix everything well.
- – After this, add jaggery syrup to the makhana mixture and mix well.
- The mixture for Makhana Laddu is ready.
- Take it slowly in your hands and make a ladle.
