Accused arrested with country made pistol and cartridges, Crime Branch took action on the basis of secret information

Ludhiana: Sukhbir Singh, a resident of Miharban, who is facing criminal cases, has been arrested by the Crime Branch team with a country-made pistol and 4 cartridges. The police party produced the accused in the court, from where he was sent on one-day police remand for questioning.

Crime Branch Sub-Inspector Sukhdeep Singh Sandhu said that on the basis of secret information, the police party arrested the accused from Miharban area and when he was searched, a country-made pistol and four cartridges were recovered from his possession. Let us tell you that two cases of assault are already registered against the accused. During investigation it was also revealed that about a dozen cases were registered against the brother of the accused. Crime branch team says that many revelations are expected from him during interrogation.
