Narnaul: Use of technology necessary for better teaching: Vikram Singh

Prof. Vikram Singh of Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa and Prof. of Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, participated in the efficiency development program organized at Haryana Central University (HKVI), Mahendragarh. Nirmal Singh was present as an expert speaker. Expert speaker Prof. Vikram Singh said that today is the time for statistics. If we know how to use technology and software correctly and accurately, then we will definitely be successful in moving forward.

He said that we should not share our personal information anywhere while using technology and we should not use the same password and email for different login IDs. He said that while using computers and laptops, we have to avoid hacksware, warning virus alerts, ransomware ware, hoax ware, phishing mails etc. We have to be digital literate. In this sequence, Prof. Nirmal Kumar said that today is the time for e-resources. We can use it anytime anywhere. He expressed his views about Government of India's Digital Library, Mook, Swayam Prabha, CEC, Gyan Darshan etc. He said that through Mook we get enough diversity and this is also the aim of the new education policy.

The student can join the course as per his need and convenience and can complete the course. Pro. Kumar said that through this we can take advantage of the knowledge of the country's experts. Along with this, through National Digital Library we can download books and journals for free and increase our knowledge. In the program Prof. Ravindra Pal Ahlawat and Prof. J.P. Bhukkar was also present.
