Dehradun, 21 October (HS). By-elections are to be held in Kedarnath assembly constituency along with civic elections in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, the opposition parties are preparing to corner the ruling party BJP on every front. At the same time, Uttarakhand Congress has once again attacked BJP regarding slums. State Senior Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana said that at the time of elections, BJP is pretending to save the people by making them fear the court order and then bringing an ordinance. This is all a conspiracy to get votes.

Senior Vice President of Uttarakhand Congress Suryakant Dhasmana was talking to the media at his camp office on Monday. He said that instead of following the law of regularization and granting of ownership rights, the BJP government is playing the game of ordinance, which is neither in favor of the slum nor in the interest of the state.

Dhasmana said that in the year 2018, to save the slums of the state from being destroyed, the Slum Development Council had marched to the Chief Minister's residence under the banner of Congress, then the Trivendra government had brought an ordinance regarding slums for the first time, which would be promulgated again in the year 2021. Was brought in for three years. Now when the time of this ordinance is ending on October 23, the state government is preparing to bring a new ordinance. Dhasmana alleged that by showing fear of razing the slums and then showing a favor to save them by bringing an ordinance, BJP gets the votes of the slums. He said that the Congress Party has always been in favor of regularizing slums and their ownership rights. If Congress government is formed in the state, slums will be regularized and residents will be given ownership rights.
