Kushinagar, 21 October (Hindustan Reporter). There has been increased excitement in Municipal Council Kushinagar regarding Diwali and Chhath festival. There will be special arrangements for cleanliness and lighting on 106 ghats and all the roads in the city area. Volunteers will be deployed at the ghats. Concrete steps will be taken to further organize garbage disposal and traffic.
The municipal administration held a meeting with people associated with industry, business, advocate association, social and voluntary organizations and discussed the action plan. Thereafter, instructions were given as per the suggestions received in the meeting of the concerned employees. In the meeting held at the Municipal Corporation office on Monday, teacher Sumit Tripathi, in his suggestions, talked about arranging traffic jams, publicity boards spread by shopkeepers on the road etc. He talked about making arrangements for city toilets, toilets, urinals etc. and mentioned the problems faced by women due to its absence. The filth caused by meat and fish being sold in the open was described as a big problem. Ravindra Vishwakarma Radhe said that the encroachment is removed by the Municipal and Tehsil administration but within a few days the problem arises again. Fine should be imposed on them.
BJP District General Secretary Santosh Dutt Rai, Trade Board President Umesh Gupta, former Civil Bar President Omkarnath Pandey, Umesh Chandra Jaiswal etc. also raised the problems of the people of the city. Municipal Corporation President representative Rakesh Jaiswal and Executive Officer Dr. Ankita Shukla assured a quick solution. The Municipal Corporation President representative said that full attention is being paid to the cleanliness system. Dustbins will be distributed to traders respectively. After this, if dirt is found, a fine of Rs 500 to 2000 will be imposed. Said that the toilets which are dilapidated will be repaired. Land is being identified for building new accessible toilets around Gandhi Chowk. There will be street lighting and drinking water during the festival. Land has also been identified at Kasada Chowk for fish market. He said that the Municipal Corporation will confiscate the publicity boards of shopkeepers who are found on the road. E-rickshaw operators are also the biggest reason for the jam. He walks haphazardly. NAPA will also prepare their road map.
