Ranchi, 21 October (HS). Tight security arrangements have been made in Jharkhand Assembly elections. Elections will be held in two phases in the state. The first phase will be held on 13 November and the second phase on 20 November. The results of the elections will come on 23 November. After the announcement of the dates, Jharkhand Police has also started preparing for the elections, so that voting can take place peacefully in Naxal affected areas.
According to the information received from the police headquarters on Monday, 119 companies (11 thousand soldiers) of paramilitary force will be deployed in Jharkhand in this regard. Of these, 91 companies of paramilitary forces have come to Jharkhand. Regarding security arrangements, Jharkhand Police had demanded 590 companies of paramilitary force from the Election Commission.
Three to five companies of paramilitary force will be deployed in one district. Each district will be able to provide three to five companies of paramilitary forces. These forces will be deployed in the works of flag march, area domination, checking etc.
