The Ministry of External Affairs has given major information on the border dispute with India and China. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has given important information. There will be two main sessions in the summit
The summit will begin on October 22. There will be a dinner for the leaders on the first day. The main day of the summit is 23 October. There will be two main sessions. After the morning session, there will be an open session in the afternoon on the main topic of the summit. The leaders are also expected to adopt the Kazan Declaration, which will pave the way forward for BRICS. The summit will conclude on October 24.
PM can also hold many bilateral meetings
This information on the border dispute with China comes a day before PM Modi leaves for the Russian city of Kazan to attend the BRICS summit. The Prime Minister may also hold several bilateral meetings during the summit. No official information has been given by the Ministry of External Affairs, but it is expected that PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has also given information about some Indians who went to fight on behalf of Russia in the Russia-Ukraine war. He said that our embassy officials are in touch with the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding the case of those who have been sent to fight in the Russian army, illegally or otherwise.
