Police have arrested 5 accused
Yogi government is in action after the violence. UP STF has been deployed to arrest those accused of violence. Recently, the police had arrested five accused in an encounter from the Nepal border. Mohammad Sarfaraz, the main accused in the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra, is also included in this. Apart from this, Mohammad Tehrani, Abdul Hameed, Mohammad Fanih and others were also accused. During the police encounter, Mohammad Sarfaraz and Mohammad Tareen were also shot in the leg.
Bulldozer will run in Maharajganj market!
The next day, a team of police and administration reached Maharajganj market in Mahsi area. After pasting notices on the encroached houses here, he said that if you people do not remove the illegal encroachment within these three days, the administration will use bulldozers. The administration put red marks on a total of 23 houses. Out of which 20 houses belonged to Muslims and three houses belonged to Hindus. The house of Mohammad Sarfaraz, accused in the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra, was also included among the 20 Muslims.
ASP Rural Pavitra Mohan Tripathi removed
After these two major actions, it was feared that careless officers might soon be punished. Now the first action has been taken against the police officer of Bahraich district. ASP Rural Pavitra Mohan Tripathi has been transferred from Bahraich to Police Headquarters Lucknow. ASP Durga Prasad Tiwari has been appointed in his place and he has been asked to take charge with immediate effect. According to sources, more officers may be punished in future.
