Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Haryana portion of the Dwarka Expressway at a function held in Gurugram. This is an elevated expressway. The expressway will help ease traffic and reduce congestion on National Highway-48 between Delhi and Gurugram.
The expressway extends for 18.9 km in Gurugram and 10.1 km in Delhi.
The expressway stretches for 18.9 km in Gurugram and 10.1 km in Delhi, from near Khedki Daula toll plaza in Gurugram to Shivmurti in Mahipalpur, Delhi. Built at a cost of Rs 9,000 crore, the project is expected to ease traffic conditions on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway and other major roads. The opening of this expressway is expected to provide considerable relief to the passengers facing traffic congestion on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway and other major routes.
