However, on information about sale of illegal liquor, the team of police and excise department reached Kabootar Camp located at Pargo in Moth tehsil of Jhansi. Where he found a hand pump. When the hand pump was operated, liquor started coming out instead of water. Even the police personnel were surprised to see this scene.
However, a closer look revealed that liquor drums were kept under the hand pump. Liquor was being taken out from the drum using a hand pump. Seeing this way of evading the police, the officers got worried.

The officer said that information about sale of illegal raw liquor was being received for several days. When they went to investigate, liquor was not found anywhere. Meanwhile, we noticed the hand pumps standing in the middle of the field. When the hand pump was operated, liquor started coming out from it instead of water. After which, after some research, it was found that the hand pumps were installed for display. Actually there are liquor drums below. Liquor was being exported from this.
According to local people, people are selling raw liquor illegally in many areas of Bundelkhand. These people adopt new methods to escape from the police. This time they buried liquor drums in the ground and installed hand pumps on top of them. Whenever a customer came to buy liquor, these people used to dispense liquor from the hand pump.
Police have seized about 600 liters of illegal raw liquor from the spot and arrested two female accused. Also, more than 3 thousand liters of liquor used in making liquor was destroyed. Besides, the furnace for making illegal liquor and other equipment have also been seized.
In this case, Ashok Ram (District Excise Officer) said that the excise and police team jointly raided the illegal liquor base being operated in village Pargauna of Moth police station area. In which the police destroyed 3 thousand liters of liquor and seized 600 liters of illegal liquor. Two female accused were also arrested.
