Araria 19 October (Hindustan Reporter). The villagers are facing a lot of problems due to the contractor and construction agency leaving the construction work of the road leading from Mirzapur to Simraha railway station of Forbesganj block incomplete.
Villagers are facing a lot of trouble due to flying dust while passing through the road. Traveling by road has become a problem for the people. There is a possibility of an accident due to the gravel on the road. Due to the dust flying on the road, it has become difficult for people to walk. The apathy being shown by the sensors is playing with the lives of the people, due to which anger is growing rapidly among the common people. People say that even after eight months the work on construction of 11.6 kilometer road is incomplete.
People say that the sensor is working as per its wish, it works for a few days and then leaves, due to which the common people have to face a lot of trouble.
On Saturday, people protested by blocking the road near Kushwaha Chowk Ward No. 5. The villagers have demanded construction of the road before the Chhath festival. Traffic was disrupted for hours.
Remained adamant on the demand of calling village representatives. Meanwhile, Rajeev Singh, Junior Engineer, Prime Minister Rural Works Department of Forbesganj sub-division, said that the workers were on leave due to rain and festival. Talks have been held with the contractor and work will start again soon.
