Jodhpur, 19 October (Hindustan Reporter). The convocation parade ceremony of new constables batch number 253, 254 and PTS-1 was organized on Saturday at the Assistant Training Center of Border Security Force (BSF), Jodhpur, in which a total of 567 new constables remained dutiful towards the Indian Constitution and worked for the unity of the country. And took oath to maintain integrity and dedicated himself to the country.
The chief guest of the convocation was ML Garg, Inspector General of BSF Assistant Training Centre. He inspected the parade and took the salute. Chief guest Garg while addressing the new constables said that you have taken a bold decision to fight the challenges by joining the Border Security Force. By completing the assigned tasks with devotion and honesty, you will definitely provide your special contribution in bringing the country to the first line. If you are deployed on border or internal security duty, you should always behave well with the general public, give utmost respect to human rights and always keep the dignity of the force intact.
Gave 44 weeks of rigorous training
Commandant (Chief Instructor) Devendra Singh said that during the 44 weeks of rigorous training, these new constables were trained in physical training, drill, weapon operation, combat skills, border security and surveillance, disaster management, cyber security, law, yoga, human behavior. And has been trained in subjects like human rights etc. Besides, the trainers have worked hard on each new constable to enhance and groom their personality.
Awarded for best performance
For their excellent performance during the training, new constables Priyanshu Tiwari, Bikash Baro and Yogesh Singh Mehar were awarded gold medals for securing overall first position in their respective batches. New constable Priyanshu Tiwari led the parade and received the medal for Best in Drill. After the convocation parade ceremony, traditional weapon art and Vihu dance was shown by the Navarakshaks. A demonstration of Thar Warrior was presented by the personnel of the Auxiliary Training Center. On this occasion, an exhibition was also organized in which weapons photo gallery and models prepared by the trainees were also displayed.
