Sandeep Singh Sidhu: Tension between India and Canada is continuously increasing. Amid deteriorating relations between the two countries, Delhi has now included the name of an officer of the Canadian Border Service Agency in the list of fugitive terrorists. India wants the terrorists included in this list to be deported from Canada. India has submitted the list to the Trudeau government.

Sandeep Singh Sidhu, a member of the banned International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) and serving in the CBSA, has been included in the list for his alleged involvement in promoting terrorist activities in Punjab.

Sidhu was in contact with ISI

Sidhu was allegedly in touch with Pakistani Khalistan terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode as well as other members of the ISI to carry out the murder of Balwinder Singh Sandhu in 2020. Sandhu was known against Khalistani terrorists. He became a symbol of resistance in the separatist movement.

Sidhu was the superintendent of CBSA

Sandhu was also awarded the Shaurya Chakra for his bravery. He was also known for opposing the Khalistan referendum in the US and Canada by Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). According to a report, Sandeep Singh Sidhu was reportedly promoted to the post of Superintendent in CBSA.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has claimed that terrorists Lakhbir Singh Rode and Sunny Toronto along with other Khalistanis had conspired to murder Sandhu. However, it has not been confirmed whether Sandeep Singh Sidhu is Sunny Toronto or not.

Tension between India and Canada is continuously increasing. Recently, Canada named the Indian High Commissioner in Ottawa as a suspect in the murder of Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Rejecting these allegations, India has recalled its 6 diplomats.
