1). Fenugreek water –
Drinking fenugreek water daily helps in controlling the absorption of carbohydrates and sugar in the body and prevents sugar levels from increasing. To control diabetes, soak one spoon fenugreek seeds in a glass of water before sleeping at night and consume this water on an empty stomach in the morning. By doing this, both your insulin and diabetes remain under control.
2). Eat millet instead of wheat based food –
Diabetics should consume millet instead of normal flour i.e. wheat flour in their diet to control their blood sugar levels. Nutrient-rich millets like ragi, barley, bajri, jowar can be included in the diet, as these millets are rich in fiber and low in glycemic index.
3). Anti-Diabetic Powder
To control diabetes, it is important that along with keeping your eating habits good, you should also include anti-diabetic powder in your diet. Roast fennel, parsley and cumin on a hot pan, cool them and then grind them in a mixer jar to make powder. Your anti diabetic powder is ready. To control diabetes, take 1 teaspoon of powder with warm water every day after meals.
