Yoga reduces bad cholesterol: Cholesterol is a waxy substance. It is found in blood. Where good cholesterol is essential for the body and helps in keeping the cells healthy. At the same time, increase in bad cholesterol has adverse effects on health. This is called low density lipoprotein (LDL). Due to which the risk of heart attack and heart disease increases.
Bad cholesterol causes lipoproteins to become fat instead of protein and can lead to heart problems. When there is too much fat and too little protein, the arteries begin to become blocked. Normal level of LDL should be less than 100mg/dL.
Pain in hands and feet, difficulty in breathing, yellow spots in the eyes, chest pain, fatigue and vomiting can be symptoms of bad cholesterol in the blood. If you report increased bad cholesterol or are experiencing symptoms, you should consult a doctor. Apart from this, some changes are also needed in eating habits and lifestyle.
