Gulab Jamun Recipe: This year Diwali will be celebrated on 1 November 2024. If you like to make sweets at home instead of buying sweets from the market on the occasion of Diwali, then in this article we are going to tell you a simple recipe for making Gulab Jamun.
Ingredients to make Gulab Jambu
- 100 grams mango
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup milk powder
- 1 tablespoon ground beef
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 green cardamoms
- 2 cups water
- Ghee or refined oil for frying
How to make Gulab Jambu
- – First of all, take mawa in a bowl and mash it well.
- Then add baking soda and flour to this dough and knead it.
- Do not mix it too hard or too soft.
- – When the dough is ready, make small balls of it.
- After this, heat ghee or refined oil in a pan and fry the prepared balls.
- To make syrup, add sugar and water in a pan.
- Cook it well until the sugar dissolves.
- While making it, check with your fingers whether strings are being formed or not. If not then cook it further.
- – Now after frying, take out the Gulab Jambu and put it in the syrup and keep it covered.
- Then after about 2 hours, take out the rose hips from the syrup and enjoy.
