Jammu, 18 October (Hindustan Reporter). The meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JKEJCC) was held at Central Office Srinagar. In the meeting, Association President Ajaz Ahmed Khan congratulated Omar Abdullah on the success of his alliance in the recently held assembly elections and on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Khan, in a statement, expressed hope that the new government will address the long-standing issues faced by employees across the region and address the aspirations, needs and concerns of the Union Territory employees, promoting peace and prosperity across the Union Territory. Will advance socio-economic development in the territory.
He said we look forward to his leadership in tackling key issues like youth empowerment, education, unemployment and development. I am hopeful that Omar Abdullah will continue to prioritize the needs and aspirations of the employees of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the chief spokesperson of the association, Khalid Mahmood Khan, wished the Chief Minister all success and expressed his desire to work together with the administration. He addressed the long pending issues of the employees like DPC of various departments which is pending for more than a decade, pay discrepancy of various departments, restoration of old pension scheme, transfer policy for Jammu based reserved category employees as well as differential Expressed hope of amending the district recruitment policy and including the transfer clause in it.
