Three mini stadiums will open in Garhwal Lok Sabha: MP Baluni

Dehradun, 18 October (HS). Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister and Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya have given consent to build mini stadiums at three places in Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency. Besides, gymnasiums will also be opened in the colleges of Garhwal Lok Sabha with the help of the Central Government. The above information has been given by Garhwal MP Anil Baluni.

Regarding this matter, MP Baluni met Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in his office. Where Baluni proposed the construction of three mini stadiums in Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency. Baluni said that the youth of Garhwal are very interested in sports, but there is a lack of proper system, environment and proper infrastructure for sports. MP Baluni said that the Union Minister has given in-principle approval for building three mini stadiums in the area. Work on which will start soon. Apart from this, gymnasiums will also be opened in various colleges falling in the Lok Sabha constituency, the outline of which is being prepared.

On this, MP Anil Baluni expressed his gratitude to the Union Minister and said that with the construction of these mini stadiums, the youth of Garhwal will not need to go to Dehradun or any other distant city. With the opening of the mini stadium, the youth of all the districts of Garhwal Lok Sabha will get a lot of help in promoting the name of Uttarakhand in sports, various competitions and sports activities will be promoted.
