Araria, October 18 (HS). The meeting of the Farbisganj Municipal Council Empowered Standing Committee was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Councilor Veena Devi. A total of seven agendas were approved in the meeting.
In the meeting, on the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festival, it was decided to clean the Chhath Ghats including the urban area, provide adequate civic facilities besides street lighting, while the selection of scheme under the Chief Minister Urban Overall Development Scheme was considered. Whereas in ward number 19 of NP area, consent was given for construction of RCC drain from the land of Meghraj Sethia to the main drain. In ward number twelve, PCC road and RCC drain will be constructed from Naushad Alam's house to the main road. Whereas through departmental resolution number 1234 dated 21 August 2024, it was considered to give the benefit of seventh pay revision to the civic employees.
Apart from considering all the above mentioned agendas, many other important points were also discussed in the meeting. Apart from NAP Chief Councilor Veena Devi, Deputy Chief Councilor Nutan Bharti, Executive Officer Suryanand Singh, Empowered Standing Committee members Ganesh Prasad Gupta, Mohd. Islam, Manoj Kumar Singh, Principal Assistant in-charge Kundan Singh, Accountant Rajneesh Kumar etc. were present in the meeting. .
