Surat, 17 October (Hindustan Reporter). On Thursday, 'Vice Chancellor's Conclave' was organized under the 'Green' program in the context of environmental protection by Bhagwan Mahavir University located at Vesu in the city, in which Vice Chancellors from different states of the country were present. Acharya Mahashraman of Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Dharmasangh and Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dr. Mohan Bhagwat were also present in the event.

On this occasion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that there is a lot of talk on environment in the world, efforts should be made to take forward things worth doing for it. After man got the weapon called science, he, under the influence of his desires, crossed all limits and considered himself the master of the world, but today science has also started believing that there is some power which is governing the creation. Shankaracharyaji had told long ago about walking with nature. Our sage Maharishi had created such a beautiful system, towards that we should again try to move forward slowly and rationally. All of you teachers are present here, so make the children aware of those ancient facts and inspire them to live in harmony with nature.

Acharya Mahashraman said that here earth, air, water, fire, vegetation etc. are all considered living beings. Therefore, if there is restraint and consciousness of non-violence in the use of all these elements, then environmental problems can be avoided. It is a special thing to have so many personalities from the education department together. People associated with education should make students aware of good values along with knowledge. If yoga and meditation are practiced for their mental and emotional development and consciousness of non-violence and restraint is developed, then the environment and society can be protected. Here a formula of non-violence is given that all the souls of the living world are equal. Knowing this, the entire living world should try to stay away from violence. Every soul has innumerable components. If the soul is expanded then only one soul pervades the entire world and if it is narrowed then it gets absorbed even in the most microscopic living beings. The second thing is that all living beings love happiness, no living being wants sorrow. All living beings want to live, no one wants to die, therefore everyone should have the right to live.

Before this, the program started with Mangal Mahamantrochar by Acharya Mahashraman. Sanjay Surana, Chairman of Chaturmas Migration Arrangement Committee-Surat, Rakesh Jain, National Co-ordinator of Environmental Protection Activity Center-Raipur, gave their expression on today's topic. Founder and Vice Chancellor of Bikaner Technical University, Professor HD Charan gave information about various ideas etc. discussed in this conclave. After this, a question-and-answer session also took place between the present Vice Chancellors and the RSS chief. This program was conducted by Shobhit Mathur, Vice Chancellor of Rishi University.
