Ratia police arrested two youths along with Doda Post

Fatehabad, 17 October (HIST). While arresting the drug smugglers, the district police arrested two youths riding a bike and recovered garbage doda poppy from them. On Thursday, Sadar Ratia police station in-charge Om Prakash said that the team of Mahmada police post under Sadar Ratia police station, under the leadership of ASI Satish Kumar, was setting up a blockade near the police post and checking the vehicles to nab the criminals.

Meanwhile, two youths were seen coming on a motorcycle from Mahmada village. When the police team stopped the motorcycle on the basis of suspicion and interrogated both the youths, they revealed their names as Sarbjit Singh alias Sarbu, son of Pola Singh, resident of Mahmada and Sahil son of Karnail Singh, resident of Lohakheda. When the police searched them, 510 grams of garbage doda poppy was recovered from them. On this the police arrested the youth and registered a case under the NDPS Act.
