East Champaran, 17 October (HS). Piprakothi police station got a big success on Thursday. Notorious criminal Sunil Mukhiya, carrying a reward of Rs 25,000, was dramatically arrested near Jeevadhara Kishunpur High School. The notorious criminal was wanted in four cases in different police stations of De and Bettiah in Piprakothi police station area. The arrested criminal is said to be from Siswa Mangalpur in West Champaran.
According to the Office of the Superintendent of Police, the police received information about the presence of the said criminal, who was included in the top 20 of the district with a reward of Rs 25 thousand, in Piprakothi police station, for which a raid team was formed under the leadership of DSP Sadar 2 Jitesh Pandey. Based on the same information, the nearby police station was alerted. During the raid, he was caught by the police near Kishunpur school in Jeevadhara. The arrested criminal was wanted in Bettiah city police station in the year 23 in two cases of theft and one case of snatching. In the same year 22, an Arms Act case was registered in Yogapatti police station.
He was wanted in two cases of Piprakothi police station, one for Arms Act and the other for snatching. The raid team included armed police forces including DSP Sadar 2 Jitesh Pandey, Police Station Head Khalid Akhtar, Inspector Nandlal Paswan, Rajveer, Constable Fayaz, Raja Kumar Tanti. Police Station Head Khalid Akhtar said that the criminal has been sent to jail after interrogation.
