Admissions in 18 colleges of Delhi University will be done on the basis of 12th marks from today.

DU Admission News: Vacant seats for undergraduate courses in 18 colleges of Delhi University will be filled in the second mop-up round from today. The admission branch of DU has released the details of vacant seats on its website admission.uod.ac.in. Of the 18, 10 are women's colleges. While one is Delhi School of Journalism. Most of the seats are for science courses including Hindi Honors, Sanskrit Honors, Home Science. Reserve category seats are vacant in most of the colleges.

Admission in DU on the basis of 12th marks

Despite five rounds of admission in these colleges of DU, seats for many courses have not been filled. There are many vacant seats in these colleges, in which students can take admission on the basis of 12th score instead of Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Admission will be on the basis of merit.

Admissions will be held from 16th to 18th October. Students will be able to deposit fees till October 19. The admission branch says that there will be no admission after this round. Students who had previously participated in the mop-up round will not get a chance for admission in this round.

In Aditi College, 22 seats are vacant in B.Com Honors and 28 seats are vacant in Hindi Journalism. In Bhagini Nivedita College, 41 seats are vacant in Hindi, 39 in Physics Honors and 56 in B.Com. In Bharti College, 45 seats are vacant in Hindi Honors, 64 in Sanskrit and 14 in Maths Honors. There are 131 vacant seats in B.Sc Home Science and 31 vacant seats in B.Sc Honors Home Science in the Institute of Home Economics. In most of the colleges, seats are vacant for science courses including Hindi Honors, Home Science, Sanskrit Honors.
