Indian Ambassador to Israel Reuven Azar reached Ayodhya on Wednesday morning and had darshan of Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. He came with his wife to see Ramlala. Meanwhile, he also talked to many devotees present there. He said that Israel has always respected the culture of India and it is also a great medium for people to connect with each other. Reuven Azar said that it is an honor for me to have the privilege of coming to Ayodhya and seeing Lord Ram. I too am overwhelmed by coming here and seeing such a large number of devotees every day.
He said, 'The people of Israel and India have lived together since ancient times. Their culture, heritage and traditions are ancient. Just as we are proud of our heritage, you too should be proud of yours. This is very important because the feeling of dedication and pride is what gives you strength. That is why I have come here to see how people feel about devotion to Lord Ram. He also pointed towards the ongoing conflict over the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
'As we say, location is very important,' the Israeli ambassador said. This is because it is not a matter of imagination. Events have happened here in history and people remember them every day. Even after years that tradition continues and becomes a part of our daily life. As ambassadors of Israel, it is important that we come here and see God. Apart from this, met people. I came here with my wife and tried to understand Indian culture deeply. The Israeli official also met UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday.
