Omar Abdullah swearing-in ceremony: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has got its first Chief Minister. National Conference leader Omar Abdullah took oath as the Chief Minister. Top leaders of the Bharat alliance attended his swearing-in ceremony. In which Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Sanjay Singh and many others were included.

Support to Congress from outside…

The event was held at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were also seen in this program. Let us tell you that earlier there were reports that Congress National Conference would support the government from outside. None of their leaders will hold ministerial post. NC-Congress alliance won 48 seats

It is noteworthy that the National Conference and Congress alliance has won the assembly elections held in Jammu and Kashmir after 10 years. Out of 90 seats, National Conference won 42 seats and Congress won 6 seats. Whereas BJP managed to win 29 assembly seats. Mehbooba Mufti's party PDP could not perform well in this election.

Surinder Singh Chaudhary will be the new Deputy CM

After becoming the new CM of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah has taken a big decision. He declared Surinder Singh Chaudhary as the new Deputy CM of the Union Territory. Chaudhary made Jammu and Kashmir BJP state president Ravindra Raina taste defeat in the elections.
