People died due to drinking poisonous liquor in Bihar: The Lathtak incident has once again created an uproar in the prohibition state of Bihar. Due to which more than seven people are reported to have died. When more than 12 people fell ill and were shifted to the hospital. Villagers have said that there was death due to drinking poisonous liquor in Madhar village located in Bhagwanpur area of Siwan district of Bihar. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
The incident happened late on Tuesday night. DM and SP visited the spot and conducted further investigation. Due to fear of police, villagers are hiding information about death due to poisonous liquor. The result was that a family repeatedly burnt the dead bodies without the knowledge of the police.

There is also news of two people losing their eyesight due to drinking poisonous liquor. In Barahipur village of Mashrak, one person died and two people lost their eyes due to the consumption of this poisonous liquor. In Belaspuri also, news of death of three people is coming to light. Police have sent two bodies for postmortem. On the other hand, the last rites of Arvind Singh of Kauria Vaishya gang were performed overnight by his family members and villagers.
