Prime Minister's goal is to make the country free from tuberculosis by 2025: Governor

Lucknow, 15 October (Hindustan Reporter). Mothers should provide adequate food, love and care to children suffering from tuberculosis, so that they can be brought up properly. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target to free the country from this disease by 2025 and implementation is also taking place as per the target. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel said these things in Rampur on Tuesday.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday participated as the chief guest in the pre-school kit distribution program to the identified Anganwadi centers of Rampur in the Collectorate complex. He visited various stalls set up by Anganwadi workers and the police department in the Collectorate premises. The Governor said that every person has a contribution to make in the development of the country. Take a pledge for this and make India a developed nation. He further said that many developed nations like America do not have the resources that our country has. The country remained in the chains of slavery for many years. Even at that time, our country had riches of knowledge, which they took with them. Zero was invented in our country, only then mathematics and technology progressed.

Anganwadi centers linked to universities

The Governor said that Anganwadi centers have been linked to universities to make them stronger and equipped with facilities. Small children studying in Anganwadi centers need special attention, because only when the foundation is strong the country will progress. Along with education, children should also have knowledge of culture and civilization. He said that to keep children healthy, all Anganwadi centers should have a health kit, which contains handkerchief, Dettol, comb, mirror, button, needle-thread, soap, nail cutter and medicine etc. He directed that the officials should make this kit available at all Anganwadi centers with the cooperation of the public. During this, the Governor distributed Anganwadi kits to 100 Anganwadi centres. Along with this, he provided nutrition kits to five children suffering from tuberculosis and Ayushman cards to five beneficiaries.

Raja Library got recognition on the world stage

Referring to the visit to Rampur Raza Library and Museum, the Governor said that it is the responsibility of all of us to give recognition to Indian culture, civilization and heritage at the world level. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision is to make our heritage world famous, this concept will be realized. To do this, development of Rampur Raza Library is necessary. State Minister of State for Agriculture, Agricultural Education and Agricultural Research, Baldev Singh Aulakh said that due to the efforts of the Governor, many historical works have been done in Rampur Raza Library and the library has also got recognition on the world stage.

Continuous monitoring of maternal and child mortality rates

Governor Anandiben Patel held a review meeting of development works in the auditorium located at Rampur Collectorate. Giving instructions to organize awareness activities for institutional delivery in the district under 'Janani Suraksha Yojana', he said that the health department should make the women aware of the problems caused by it in rural areas where home delivery is still done. Motivate for institutional delivery by organizing awareness camps. Along with this, the Chief Medical Officer was directed to continuously monitor the maternal-child mortality rate and the officers should take this matter seriously. In the same meeting, the Chief Development Officer told that 12 private and 07 government hospitals have been affiliated under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The Governor directed the CMO to inspect and review all these hospitals associated with the Golden Card Scheme and conduct surprise inspections. He directed all the officers to do necessary work in this direction to ensure that the eligible people get the benefits of all the schemes run by the government. He took information about the status of Anganwadi centers and gave instructions to make progress in recruitment to the vacant posts and get the recruitment done soon. He discussed in detail various schemes including National Vaccination Programme, Nutrition Campaign Programme, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban and Rural, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and others.
