India-Canada Tension: Diplomatic tension has once again increased between India and Canada over the killing of Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau once again held a press conference and made serious allegations against India.

Justin Trudeau's serious allegations against India

Justin Trudeau accused India in the press conference and said, 'Agents of the Indian government are involved in criminal activities against Canadian citizens on Canadian soil. India has not cooperated with Canada in the investigation of this case. We will not tolerate any country colluding in threatening or killing any Canadian citizen. This is a violation of Canada's sovereignty and international law.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, 'Canada is a law-abiding country and the safety of our citizens is of the utmost importance to us. Agents of the Indian government were directly involved in the murder of Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil. We took immediate action on this.

'I spoke to PM Modi'

Justin Trudeau said, I spoke directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But since my statement in the House of Commons last year, the Indian Government's response to this entire matter has been to deny and deny it. I have also been personally attacked. Not only this, questions have also been raised on the Canadian government, officials and our agencies.

Justin Trudeau says the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has evidence linking Indian government agents to Nijjar's murder, “The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Commissioner had previously said they had strong evidence “There are allegations that agents of the Government of India were involved in the murder of Nijjar and are involved in such activities.” This is a threat to public safety. This includes involvement in more than a dozen cases of intimidation and violence, including intelligence gathering techniques, targeting and killing of South Asian Canadian citizens.'

What did Trudeau say on India-Canada relations?

On mutual relations between India and Canada, Justin Trudeau said, 'There is a long history of mutual relations and trade between Canada and India. But we cannot tolerate what is happening now. We fully respect India's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Moreover, we hope that India will also do the same for us.

Nijjar was murdered on 18 June 2023

India has declared Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar a terrorist. He was shot dead outside a gurudwara in British Columbia on June 18, 2023. After this murder, in September, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had accused Indian agents of involvement in Nijjar's murder. India rejected Trudeau's allegations. But from here the relations between India and Canada started deteriorating.
