Fatehpur, 14 October (HIST). An important step has been taken towards the empowerment of women under the 'Mission Shakti' campaign in the district on Monday. Aanksha Vishwakarma, a laborer's daughter, was made the District Magistrate for a day. Aanksha had secured third position at the state level in the 12th board examination, due to which she received this honour.
While taking charge as District Magistrate, Aanksha listened to the problems of the people in the Collectorate office and gave instructions for their immediate solution. Also, District Magistrate Ravindra Singh and Chief Development Officer gave him guidance.
The aim of this initiative is to empower women and inspire them to develop leadership abilities and self-confidence. Aanksha described this experience as extremely inspiring and said that it is an important step towards achieving her future goals.
