England's playing 11 announced for the second test against Pakistan, captain Stokes returns

Multan, 14 October (HIST). The second match of the three-match Test series between England and Pakistan team will be played in Multan from tomorrow i.e. Tuesday. England team is leading 1-0 in the series after winning the first test match. Meanwhile, the playing eleven of the England team for the second test has been announced on Monday.

England captain Ben Stokes has returned in the second test. Ben Stokes will return to competitive cricket for the first time since August this year. Stokes has missed the last four Tests for England due to a hamstring injury. He missed the three-match Test series against Sri Lanka and the first Test against Pakistan in Multan. In his absence, Ollie Pope took charge of the team. However, Stokes has been regularly associated with the England team and now he will be fit and take command of the team again. Along with Stokes, Matthew Potts has also got a place in the playing eleven while the fast bowling pair of Chris Woakes and Gus Atkinson had to sit out.
