A nine year old girl was brutally assaulted after entering her house, the accused absconded

Shimla, 14 October (HIST). A case of brutality against a nine-year-old girl after entering her house has come to light in Rampur sub-division of the district. The victim is of Nepali origin and her parents work in the local orchard here. The accused youth is absconding and the police is actively searching for him. The accused who committed this heinous crime is married and has small children.

The victim's family lives in a rented house near an apple orchard in a village in Rampur. A person living in the same village was visiting his house. It was told that the victim's family members were not present in the house on the evening of 12 October. Finding the victim alone, the accused entered the room and brutalized her. A Nepali couple living in the neighborhood heard the girl screaming and went into the room.

The accused was raping the victim. After this the accused ran away. On the complaint, Rampur police has registered a case against the accused. Rampur police is searching for the accused who is absconding after the incident. The victim girl is scared after this incident. Regarding the incident, DSP Rampur Naresh Sharma said on Monday that the police is searching for the accused. The medical examination of the victim has been done.
