After winning the assembly elections, the meeting of new BJP MLAs is going to be held on October 16, in which many leaders including Amit Shah and Mohan Yadav will be present. BJP has won 48 out of 90 seats in the state. Amit Shah said in an election rally in Panchkula, BJP has fought this election on the strength of Naib Singh Saini. In such a situation, there is a high possibility of Saini being made the Chief Minister.
Contenders for the post of Chief Minister in Haryana BJP
Even before the results of Haryana elections are out, many BJP leaders are in the race to become the Chief Minister. The contenders also include Anil Vij, who became MLA from Ambala Cantt for the seventh time, and Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh and both these leaders are vying for the post of Chief Minister on the basis of seniority. Keeping all these things in mind, there is a possibility of uproar in the meeting of BJP MLAs to be held on October 16. Saini's name may also be opposed in the meeting.
Anil Vij can increase BJP's troubles!
Actually BJP fears that Anil may oppose Vij Saini's name. Earlier, Vij had made Naib Singh Saini the Chief Minister by removing Manohar Lal Khattar from the post of Chief Minister. At that time Vij was leaving the legislative party meeting midway. Apart from this, he was also not included in the Saini cabinet. A few days ago, Vij had met BJP President JP Nadda. Then news came that VJ had staked claim for the post of Chief Minister.
Rao Inderjit Singh also claimed the post of CM
Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh has also claimed the post of Chief Minister. Singh has claimed that it is because of Ahirwal belt that BJP government has been formed in the state. This time also BJP has performed best in Ahirwal. BJP has won 10 out of total 11 seats here. Earlier in the 2019 elections, BJP had won only eight seats. Due to which BJP had to form the government with the help of JJP. This time the MLA who won in Ahirwal is said to be close to Inderjit Singh. A few days ago, there were reports that there are nine MLAs with Inderjit Singh and they are demanding the post of Chief Minister. He also said, 'Becoming the Chief Minister is not my wish but the wish of the people. Even today people want me to become the Chief Minister.
Amit Shah in the field to convince the contenders
BJP has appointed a senior leader like Amit Shah as the Central Observer for Haryana to keep an eye on the claims for the post of Chief Minister and convince the contenders. It will be a big challenge for BJP to satisfy the contenders for the post of Chief Minister as well as to convince the leaders demanding a place in the cabinet. At present many groups are working in Haryana BJP. With each faction vying for a cabinet berth, Haryana could be a challenging constituency for the BJP.
