England cricket team has announced the team for the second test against Pakistan. Veteran all-rounder Ben Stokes has returned to this team. Stokes suffered a hamstring injury in August and missed four Tests. Fast bowlers Chris Woakes and Gus Atkinson were left out of the team that won their record-breaking first Test. In addition to the stock, mat utensils are also included.
Stokes has fully recovered from hamstring injury
Stokes was rested in the first match against Pakistan. But he played an excellent role as the 12th man and fed his teammates during the break. The England Cricket Board announced the final eleven on Monday and said that Stokes has fully recovered from his hamstring injury. He has been kept out of the team since the end of August due to injury.
The second test will be played on the same pitch as the first match.
It has been confirmed that the second Test, starting on Tuesday, will be played on the same pitch that was used for the first Test. Pakistan has made a big change in its team for this test and has dropped former captain Babar Azam and fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi. The team's selection committee included captain Shan Masood, coach Jason Gillespie, former captain Azhar Ali and former international umpire Aleem Dar.
