Patiala News: The government gunner of a BJP leader died under suspicious circumstances in Bhawanigarh, Patiala. He was found dead in his car. He was shot on his forehead. The body of the gunman was lying on the driver's seat.
According to the information, BJP leader and FCI director Jeevan Kumar Garg has confirmed the death of his gunman. The deceased has been identified as constable Navjot Singh. He was a resident of Patiala.
The BJP leader said that constable Navjot Singh had informed him about his arrival on the phone before coming for duty at around 11 am today. After this he could not come for duty for several hours, due to which he called Navjot again, but this time he did not pick up the phone. After which it was revealed that his body was found in the car near Jalana village.
Pasiana police station in-charge Taranveer Singh said that the matter is being investigated. How the constable was shot in the forehead is being investigated.
