Raipur, 12 October (HS). Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today participated in the Guru Darshan Mela program organized at Telasipuri Dham, the birthplace of Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji and the Tapobhoomi of Guru Amardas Ji, located in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Minister by garlanding and offering prayers to the photographs of Baba Guru Ghasidas and Guru Amardas ji. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Supreme Guru Asamdas Saheb were welcomed by wearing turban. In the program, on the demand of local public representatives, the Chief Minister announced giving Rs 3 crore 18 lakh for development of Telasi Gurdwara Bada, construction of CC road from main temple to main road and road from Gaitra main road to Bohardih Nala, beautification of Guru Amardas reservoir and scheduled caste hostel Telasi. Announced the construction of a building for 50 additional seats.
While congratulating Vijayadashami, Chief Minister Sai said that this festival symbolizes the victory of truth and good over evil. On this day, the effigy of Ravana is burnt. But we need to overcome evil like lust, anger, pride and greed. He said that Baba Guru Ghasidas ji appeared in the 18th century to remove untouchability and inequality in the society. He gave a message to the world as per his wish. Our government is working for the upliftment of the last man of the society following the path shown by Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji. He said that the basic mantra of development of the society is education. Illiterate people also live their lives in the society but there is a lot of difference between the lives of educated and illiterate people. The state and nation will develop only through an educated society. Our government is continuously fulfilling Modi's guarantees immediately after the formation of the new state government, which includes purchasing paddy at 21 quintals per acre and Rs 3100, payment of outstanding bonus amount to farmers, approval of 18 lakh Prime Minister's houses, purchase rate of tendu leaves. It was increased to Rs 5500 per standard bag. Many public welfare schemes including Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Ramlala Darshan Yojana are being run.
Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel said that in Satnami society there is a tradition of Guru darshan on the day of Vijayadashami. Satnami society is moving forward taking inspiration from the philosophy of Guru. The society should move forward in the field of education, the social people should awaken the future generation to work in the interest of the society. He said that one should take maximum advantage of the government schemes. Revenue Minister Tankram Verma said that the teachings of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji will unite the society and bring uniformity. Guru tradition is prevalent in the country. By seeing the Gurus one can find the right path and only through the right path the state will be happy and prosperous.
The program was also addressed by Supreme Guru Asamdas Saheb Janjgir-Champa MP Kamlesh Jangde, Mungeli MLA Punnulal Mohale. Collector Deepak Soni, in his welcome speech, gave information about the work and innovations being done by the district administration.
Meritorious students were honored and youth received appointment letters.
In the programme, 12 meritorious students of Satnami community were honored and 21 youth were given appointment letters for employment. Along with this, 2 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana were given gas connections and 3 beneficiaries were given ration cards, 10 beneficiaries were given approval letters under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 5 beneficiaries were given Ayushman cards and 10 Lakhpati Didis were honored. On this occasion, Ahiwara MLA Domanlal Korsewada, former Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Sanam Jangade, Superintendent of Police Vijay Aggarwal, CEO District Panchayat Divya Aggarwal, Rajmahant of Satnami Samaj along with society officials and a large number of devotees were present.
