Surat: To mark the completion of 10 years of Surat's Ventura AirConnect air service on Dussehra, Ventura met Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Launched the only large capacity hangar for aircraft parking and state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance services at Surat Airport. It was done by Patil. On this occasion, Finance and Energy Minister Kanubhai Desai, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi, Mentor of Ventura AirConnect and Rajya Sabha MP Govindbhai Dholakia were present.
Since airports like Mumbai and Ahmedabad are very busy and lack adequate space for maintenance facilities, a 41 feet high modern hangar with maintenance facility has been constructed at Surat Airport. With this, aircraft from all over India will come to Surat for repair and maintenance.
In case of increased air connectivity with Surat, 10 aircraft can be parked simultaneously in the hangar with a capacity of 33,636 square feet for aircraft parking so that there is no problem of parking.
It is noteworthy that Ventura Air Connect has been operating daily air services between Surat and Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar-Rajkot and Amreli for the last 10 years with economical Cessna Grand Caravan 9-seater mini-aircraft for every class from Surat to Saurashtra. More than 2 lakh people have achieved this in just 30 minutes in the last 10 years.
