Salary of employees- Himachal Pradesh government has announced to release four percent installment of DA. This time due to Diwali, all employees and pensioners will also get advance salary.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has made many important announcements keeping in mind the interests of the employees and pensioners of the state. He announced to pay four percent installment of dearness allowance to the state government employees and pensioners from January 1, 2023, which will benefit 1 lakh 80 thousand employees and 1 lakh 70 thousand pensioners of the state. He said that giving dearness allowance will put a burden of about Rs 600 crore on the government exchequer.
On the occasion of Diwali festival, all employees will get salary on 28th October.
The Chief Minister also announced that the salary and pension for the month of October will be given to all the employees and pensioners on October 28 this month. He said Rs 10 crore would be provided for medical reimbursement to pensioners. Budget provision has been made and instructions have been issued to all departments to settle all their outstanding medical reimbursement bills.
Old age pensioners will also get arrears
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to pay the entire dues of pensioners aged 75 years and above. On this occasion, he also announced to give an additional installment of Rs 20 thousand of the outstanding salary to Class IV employees. The Chief Minister said that Himachal will become a self-reliant state by 2027.
He said that there is no financial crisis in the state. Actually, Himachal Pradesh needs Rs 2 thousand crore every month for salaries and pensions. Just two days ago, the Central Government has released the advance installment of Central Tax and under this the Himachal Pradesh Government has received an amount of more than Rs 1400 crore. Information about the assistance received from the government should be given to the government ministers.
