Treasure found during excavation: A huge amount of treasure has been found during the excavation of a field in Rajapur Kala village of Dankaur police station area of Greater Noida. The villagers have found silver coins and huge quantities of jewelery from the fields. Excavation was being done in the field to fill the fill for the house under construction.
Meanwhile, people got information about treasure lying in the field. After which a competition started among the villagers to loot the treasure. After receiving information about finding the treasure, the Archeology Department has started investigating the matter.
A huge amount of treasure has been found during excavation in the fields of Rajapur Kala village. Villagers told that last night digging was being done in the field of village head Kailash to fill an under construction house in the village.
Soil was being brought in trolleys for filling. The next day the villagers found some coins scattered along with the dirt on the road. After which the villagers took the soil spread on the road and reached Pradhan's farm.
Archeology department is engaged in investigation
As soon as the news of finding the treasure was received, a crowd of villagers gathered to loot the treasure. Sources claim that the villagers have found a large quantity of white metal jewelery and coins. Along with this, the metal structure is said to be of Mughal and British period.
Villagers say that so far 20 kg of silver coins and jewelery have been found during the excavation. After receiving information about the discovery of the treasure, the Archeology Department seized 18 to 20 types of jewelery from the villagers and started investigation.
