Authorities have issued a strict warning to people who are under evacuation orders. Officials said the deadly storm will cross the eastern Gulf of Mexico and reach Florida. The U.S. National Weather Service's National Hurricane Center is urging Florida residents to complete their preparations as conditions will gradually worsen.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wrote on Twitter, “Now is the time to act on your plans and follow the evacuation orders received from your local officials. Your home can be rebuilt, but those we left in the storm cannot be replaced.” ,
The Florida Division of Emergency Management warned Thursday that the storm is expected to cause a number of weather problems, such as high winds, deadly tornadoes and heavy rain. Now due to this storm, power supply to more than 32 lakh homes in large parts of Florida has been cut off.
