New Delhi: Police has seized cocaine worth Rs 2,000 crore from Ramesh Nagar, Delhi. The drug smuggler has fled to London. The weight of the seized cocaine has been estimated at 200 kg.
The car in which the cocaine was brought was fitted with a GPS. At present the police is conducting raids to arrest the cocaine smuggler. Police reached by tracking the GPS location.
This cocaine also belongs to the same syndicate which was caught with cocaine worth Rs 5600 crore. A total of 762 kg of cocaine has been seized so far. This is believed to be the biggest recovery of cocaine in the country.
Earlier, a big drug syndicate was exposed in Punjab. In the drug syndicate case worth Rs 5600 crore, cocaine worth about Rs 10 crore was seized from Punjab.
The syndicate was receiving orders for supply of cocaine in large quantities from Britain and Dubai. On October 2, a large quantity of drugs were seized in Delhi. According to sources, more than 500 kg of cocaine was seized. This quantity was caught in the search operation of Delhi Police.
