It rained especially in the western area of ​​Ahmedabad city, where Garba is organized mostly in party plots. It rained with wind during Garba in areas like SG Highway, Satellite, Vastrapur, Shivranjani, Jodhpur etc. of Ahmedabad. Apart from this, the atmosphere became cool due to rain showers in other parts of the city also. However, the grime spoiled the fun for players who were eager to hang out. Due to rain, the players who had come to visit the party plot with expensive passes returned to Villa Monde.

A similar situation was seen in Surat. Today, the rain intensified in Surat after 6 pm and due to 2 inches of rain in 2 hours, a water bomb situation was created in many areas of the city including Labor Gate, City Light, Pandesara, Katargam. Most of the Navratri plans of the city were ruined due to rain. In many Garbis only Mataji Aarti was performed and Nortun Puru was announced.

If we look at the data from 6 am to 6 pm today, it rained in 45 talukas of the state during these 12 hours. Maximum rainfall of 64 mm (2.52 inches) occurred in Kodinar taluka of Gir Somnath district. Apart from this, 43 mm (1.69 inches) of rain occurred in Ganadevi of Navsari, 32 mm (1.26 inches) of rain in Sutrapada of Gir-Somnath, 28 mm (1.10 inches) of rain in Mahuva of Bhavnagar. Thus, 7 talukas of the state recorded rainfall of more than 1 inch during this period.
