Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria on Thursday participated in the awareness program organized for girls and women on cyber security and social media security under 'Shakti Abhinandan Abhiyan' at TIT College, Bhopal and made the students present there aware. Addressing the students, he said that in the present scenario, children and students of the society are exposed to many things on social media. Awareness programs will have to develop enough understanding among them to understand what kind of information, photos and videos they should see.
Minister Nirmala Bhuria said that the department is making efforts to make girls and women aware about cyber security and social media security in the entire state. He said that in this, cyber cell experts of the police department will organize various programs to make college students, businessmen and women aware, on topics like Samvad Grandi-Nani Samman, sensitive workshop on mental health, safety walk, women's participation in development etc. Used to be.
He said that awareness programs on issues like women empowerment and women safety are being continuously implemented by the Central and State Governments. He said that Shakti Abhinandan Abhiyan was organized in the state from October 2 to October 11, in which many public awareness programs are being organized at the village level for women and girl empowerment for 10 days. In this, along with women and child development, voluntary organizations along with education, health, panchayat and rural development, police departments are also participating.
