Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected all the Dussehra grounds of Narela Assembly on Thursday in connection with the preparations for the Dussehra festival. During this, he instructed the officials to make concrete preparations for the event. Minister Sarang said that there is great enthusiasm among all the citizens regarding the festival 'Dussehra Utsav' which symbolizes the victory of truth over untruth. Like every year, this year too Dussehra festival will be celebrated with full joy and enthusiasm in Narela Assembly. Municipal Corporation and District Administration officials are busy in extensive preparations for the festival. Before the festival, instructions have been given to ensure seating arrangements, parking, traffic and other arrangements in all Dussehra grounds.
Minister Sarang said that Dussehra festival will be celebrated on 12th October. Preparations for Dussehra festival are being completed at a fast pace in Narela Assembly. Thousands of citizens will witness this festival in all the Dussehra grounds of the area. Considering the number of spectators, adequate seating arrangements are being made at the Dussehra grounds. Instructions have been given for parking of vehicles near the Dussehra grounds as well as for keeping the traffic smooth. Apart from this, arrangements will also be made for drinking water for the citizens on Dussehra grounds and medical and fire fighting as a precaution in case of emergency.
Ashoka Garden Dussehra ground will be upgraded at a cost of about Rs 2.5 crore.
Minister Sarang said during the inspection that Ashoka Garden Dussehra ground in Narela Assembly will be upgraded. A proposal of about Rs 2.5 crore has been passed for this. Its construction work will be started soon.
