Shimla, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). Thieves broke the locks of a house in Shoghi area under Baluganj police station and made away with jewelery and cash worth lakhs of rupees. The family found the locks of cupboards and boxes kept in the rooms broken. There was no one at home at the time of the incident. The miscreants took advantage of this and committed theft. On the complaint of the victim's family, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
Meera Devi, a resident of Gwala village of Shoghi, said that on the night of October 8, one gold necklace, two gold earrings, two gold bangles, two gold rings, one gold chain, three pairs of silver anklets, two Silver rings and 15 pairs of silver bracelets were stolen. Apart from this, cash worth Rs 50 thousand is missing from the house.
The police officer investigating the case said on Thursday that on the basis of the complaint, action is being taken by registering an FIR under Section 331 (4) and 305 of the Indian Justice Code. Evidence has been collected by inspecting the stolen house. Soon the thieves will be caught by the police.
