Chandigarh: Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar said that every section of the state is angry with the government and people are waiting for the election code of conduct. He said that people are ready to come out openly against the arrogance of the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and its policies of destroying the dignity and autonomy of Punjab and handing it over to the masters of Delhi. Before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Jakhar held a review meeting with the election management committee and party officials.
Jakhar said that the public will teach a lesson to the alliance of AAP and Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that BJP is the best suited party to safeguard the long-term interests of Punjab by making a solid return to power at the Center under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Jakhar said that India has developed rapidly in the last 10 years and the whole world is watching our efforts to continue this momentum. He appealed to all the party leaders, officials and lower level workers to work hard and fulfill the dream of the Prime Minister. He appealed to the party workers to take the Prime Minister's policies to every home.
Jakhar said that the Chief Minister's drama of calling himself an advocate of farmers has further exposed his understanding on farming issues. He said that no section is satisfied with the state government, the entire picture will soon become clear with the results of the Lok Sabha elections.
