Champawat, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' scheme, girl students participated in the Coffee with DM program in the District Office Auditorium on Thursday. During this period, girl students were also honoured. About 250 girls from three colleges and 18 inter colleges of the district participated in the program.
During this, district level officers of various departments including District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer Champawat interacted with the girls from various schools of the district.
During this, District Magistrate Navneet Pandey said that it is the determination of the daughters that gives them a new identity in the country and abroad. He called upon the girl students to move forward in every field.
On this occasion, a total of 56 girls who were winners in various competitions organized at the inter-college level in the district in the past, along with girls who secured positions at the national and state level in various fields, were honored.
Chief Development Officer Sanjay Singh, Senior Treasury Officer Seema Bangwal, APD Vimmi Joshi, CO Vandana Verma, ACMO Rashmi Pant, Prosecution Officer Tanuja Verma, Food Inspector Yogita Tiwari, District Program Officer Rajendra Prasad Bisht and others were present in the program.
