The artisans are giving final touches to the effigies of Ravana and Kumbhakarna in the Dussehra grounds. Apart from this, more lighting has been done in the effigies of Ravana and Kumbhakarna than before. This time too, spectacular fireworks have been arranged. At the time of Ravana Dahan, flames will come out of Ravana's eyes and balls of fire will come out of his mouth. At the same time, fire chakra will run on Ravana's navel and head and sparks will burst from the sword. Ravana's ten heads will be destroyed in fire one by one.
It is noteworthy that Dussehra festival is being celebrated since 1956 by Shri Ram Mandir Pranyas Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha at Dussehra grounds of Adarsh Nagar.
